Now Teck has gone off to drill fresh ground. I am just speculating that they are maybe working on their own mine plan. It leads me to believe that they have a different idea of how this mine would be worked.
I think you hit the nail right on the head. If they can find more mineralization on the East side and better grades that will undoubtedly change the mine plan. IMO, with the size of this whole area Teck may be even contemplating a larger pit plan with much larger daily throughput to improve the economics. Just look at Cobre Panama. FS numbers are way better with a 220t/day operation. Economies of scale will work in our favour to reduce payback time, drastically improve IRR, cash flow and profitability.
