CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Every penny drop adds $75 million to our NPV at 8%.
The FS showed a NPV at 8% of $513 million, with the dollar at just under 97 cents.
Now the dollar has just dropped to below 88 cents, which adds $675 million to give a total of $1.188 billion.
At NPV 5% it would come to $2.369 billion.
This is the lowest it has been since 2009. Of course, the dollar now, and the dollar when the mine is built could be vastly different but it helps compensate for the price of copper when doing the calculations now.
