CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Great post Willy Nilly.
I think the reasoning you supplied builds a strong case for SC being developed before Galore Creek, regardless of the fact Galore's reserves are booked and ours are not yet...
The high level review definately shows they are taking a serious look at us and puts a check in the positive column.
I still personally feel a production decision will not come before the 2015 drilling is completed and results are integrated into the project.
I guess the exception to that for me would if we see some action in the "Early Works" account Prospekt mentioned yesterday.
If things start happening like road building all bets are off regarding a delayed production decision. That would be a huge SP catalyst and things could move very quickly as Teck may want to buy before our SP climbs too much? I guess there is also the possibility that they may buy us out before showing their hand with the Early Works too?
Pure speculation on my part though...
I can't see a reason to sell at these prices, for the record.
