Yes, I have called the office a few times and always left the call feeling all is well.
The problem is what was explained to me on the phone (with very little detail) didnt end up resembling what actually happened. Direct questions were responded to with indirect answers, he was very good at steering where the conversation went. He has some skills in that department.
He is a very personable and friendly person. Its easy to see why many like him. He talks to you like a friend and talks as long as you need - you dont feel like he is trying to brush you off or anything.
He is a great talker, but its the delivery that counts.
I would like to get it on record so to speak. Lets see some numbers - what are things going to actually cost. Lets see the budget and schedule. Its easy to say we have plenty of cash and will never dilute, but considering what is on the record for future work it seems we are short. 24 million to here pretty quickly, and so much more to acomplish - more needed to complete. Even if we did get VD ready to sell, are we going to get a good return in this market? I dont think so personally.
I want to feel confident he can do what he says he will. Waiting out this market may be a while. Longtime shareholders need assurances their investment can survive this stormy market?
If you were going to renovate your house and a contractor said he could do it for a whole lot less than you thought even the materials would cost - but you had to trust him - wouldnt put it in writing. What would you do? He is in charge of our investment, are we not owed some frank written information?
When SP is where it is, the market is saying something - are we listening...
A big reason why I think Doggers idea is such a good one.
