Maybe this is an example of how having a JV with a Major is a negative for us. Anyone who buys out our share would have to wait for Teck to decide whether they want to go ahead with the project or not. In practical terms I would assume that they would have the discussion with Teck before they approach us.
It appears that the Probe Mines property is close enough to the Goldcorp Porcupine project. They are close enough that Goldcorp thinks they can save capex by using the same mill at Porcupine. They also think the use of the shared mill will enable them to get a swifter permit for the mine.
Goldcorp is on the record as saying they are interested in assets that are physically close to their other operations for these reasons.
