Well I do agree this will get the point you and he was going at across, although I already knew of that point. But as we know it is the intial mine life and there is more to. Now if Teck would only pay us based on that, then I guess that is a problem and I suggest we go mining cause we all know if they build a mine it will be mining well over that.

Now your exmaple doesnt quite compare, as you are more saying something like we will build 1/10 mines first and the other one is all 10 mines at once. This is both building a single mine, each are different. One of them is more cost effective and results a higher return bar none.

Expanding on your question, its no way to know with your information given. B could easily be the best one, how much is each condo? How many units? What kinda debt do we have to take? Maybe building them slowly saves massivly on manpower. So many factors that can make B be a more appealing investment and therefore draw more money. But I can see how blindly looking at a couple numbers makes one look vastly inferior.

Well I can't say I would say optimization means its an improvement. It could get worse and like you said they could find a problem with the project all together. I work in the Engineering world and I know all too much about that.
