CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I think something maybe is going on behind the scenes. It doesn't make sense.
Either this is the final stages or Teck games continue.
Look at the timeline. Back in October, the SC program update and last communication was everything was to be completed by end of November. The JV would not just throw that date out without knowing with certainty they were very close to forming a new report.
Fast forward 2 months....from their expected completion date and the recent update is the "final report" has yet to be signed. I call BS.
I think it's possible to believe they have been in negotiations since end of November when the data was completed and finally updated based on the news release. It does not take an extra 2 months to get signatures and approvals from authorized people.
