CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I would hardly call $500 M in Teck shares a win-win. For those of us who've been around for a decade, it's like going to an all-you-can-eat restaurant and be served a lettuce leaf. Personally, I hope to be compensated not only for what is proven up, but also for the mining potential of the Schaft District.
If a buck/share is all they have to offer, then we may as well wait until it becomes a mine. Just my humble opinion.
Best regards to those few of us longtimers who are still here!
