CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Agree, Schaft Creek is at a FS level on many aspects, but with the changes done in the last 7 years, Teck would still need to do some minor work to prove the concept 100%, but it would not be that significant (for Teck anyways).
Example: If they changed the location of an infrastructure to optimize the mine plan, they would probably need to drill a couple of holes under that new location just to make sure the ground will support the weight of the equipment.
This being said, with the current metal prices, they could use the old 2013 FS and probably bring the project up over 3B by using most of what was already 43-101 material. I'm pretty sure they didn't work 8 more years for a similar result.
IMO.
