All this means that no one should expect copper to go through the roof next year.  In fact we will be lucky to avoid a pan pacific war; that might spill over into a world war. 

If your world war comes to pass, then copper fox and copper price should be the least of your worries. There is no point discussing extinction events like world war, asteroids hitting Earth, deadly virus pandemics, AI taking over etc; at that point, whar Elmer did or did not do, what stocks everyone invested in or how much money one has means absolutely nothing.
