Message: Holdco Markets - Spotlight on Copper Fox Metals

This independent article has really clarified a few things.

Firstly, the VD asset should be attractive to potential buyers yet no realistic offers.

Second the SC project might be quite large down the road and the meta studies could show its promise but no one should expect a big payday from a sale of our 25%. MK has always said it should be around $500 million but as is usual with this company I think we should lower our expectations.

The greenfield projects are estimated together at $15 million.

EE has not used other forms of injecting cash into the company that would eliminate the need for pp and shareholder dilution; which means that the projects  are not advanced nearly as fast as could reasonably be expected.

A sale of one of the newer assets could have also provided the necessary cash but  EE and EE have chosen to wait and erode the sp.

Minimal work is done with no appreciable increase in value as far as the market is concerned.

There are other points but I think GY is right in suspecting that EE will wait until copper is so high that even the junior assets are worth multiples of their current value. Neither he nor ES care about the shareholders or the sp. This is a public company in name only.

A number of us will probably not live to see the promised pay day. if you are young enough and have the stomach for it you might get to take that Vegas holiday. As always JMHO.
