Completely share your sentiments but unless there is some outside force, ES will probably be in his comfy chair until he decides his retirement fund is sufficient to leave CF. I don't want to stoke the conspiracy theories but the silence and inaction especially about SC suggests something MIGHT be in the works. I'm not saying it will happen in a few months just that the back door deal some have suggested was worked out years ago might explain why ES is still around. If EE knows there is a deal in place he might be inclined to let ES stay and pad his tfsa for his golden years. 

Hard to see any other explanation for the past 15 years.
