MOM, generally I respect you and I appreciate your posts.

But who is talking the talk here?

You stated that TA was of little value in KRY's case because it is mostly news driven.

I think you are wrong.

Pull up a monthly chart on freestockcharts.com and extend it back as far as possible. It will take you back to mid 1997. In mid 1998 KRY bottomed at $0.30 and then started on a multi year uptrend that continued until 2007 or 2008 depending on how you look at it.

The most basic of all indicators, a trend line, based on monthly closes, would have screamed EXIT when it was breached at around the $2.00 level in early 2008. A few months later KRY bottomed at $0.10.

Other indicators, only slightly more sophisticated, signaled potential weakness much earlier. The monthly stochastic, again a very basic indicator, showed serious divergence when KRY touched $5.25 in 2007. Other indicators (ADX, CCI, directional indicators etc.) all confirmed that something was wrong.

Now all of this was happening at around the same time that the whole series of pumps including Roy Carson and his Gutierrez interviews, Catherine Gignac's much publicized strong buy recomendation, Haywood pumps and even a National assembly report were used to suck in people who don't believe in or follow TA.

I could go on but frankly it's really nice outside and I have better things to do.

My only point in my original post was that $0.50 is a technically important level. It was a reversal point in April 1998. June 1999, July 1999, August 1999, November 2008, November 2009 and we are now banging up against it. So I, for one, am not surprised that we have not just continued on up without bouncing around a little bit.

My post was for the benefit of people who were concerned about the pullback.

Lastly, a word of warning. In looking at the KRY chart today it occured to me that the recovery we are now enjoying could be purely technical. We have started back in the other direction (up) and the 2008 crash is long gone. Even some of the high volume days that we have seen could have been triggered by technical signals and not by any backroom activity that will lead to a resolution.

As Teutracker pointed out the SP rise and positive technicals conflict with our apparent lack of cash and the BK risk. So be careful everybody and do your own DD.
