I had a lot of correspondance with Gowlings counsels before the firm unceremoniously and w/o explanation, dropped us commoners like a chunk of Kryptonite.  They were in for a 9% vig working on behalf of the common shareholders.  I guess the collective commission from the group of 'majors' was more than they would've earned from the rest of us little people.  Or was there someting else going on?....
