Don't get me wrong, technical analysis is somewhat useful, but only after you've taken the fundamentals into account. The trick is knowing when you're looking at a black swan.

The reason TA bloggers never make clear decisive predictions is the same as the reason psychics never make clear decisive predictions - 99% of the time, they're wrong. Any predictions they do make are along the lines of "the markets going to go up, but then it's going to go down, maybe sometime, perhaps, unless something else happens".
