A well respected junior mining executive gave me some great advice over a year ago...he said "never trust anyone in this junior mining game".

Peter only knows what he is allowed to know so I doubt that he was the one that was lying/wrong.

I asked a chartered accountant friend about what could have happened here. He said that the junior auditors do most of the leg work and then the senior boys review and approve it before it is signed off. He suggested that the senior boys did not like something that the junior boys overlooked and put the breaks on at the last moment.

The problem was likely something to do with accounting/financial standards rather than poor results. Don't forget that Peru may have different accounting rules than Canada.

IMHO investors have made more out of this than it deserves.
