Sure, she has her good points. Peggy managed to steal San Juan de Chorunga for a song, from what I can tell. It's a crap 19th century mine now, but has great possibilities for expansion, and you have to hand it to her to see that gem in the rough for what it is.

At the same time, she has attitude, and she's failed miserably in some past acquisitions.

And even if she were god herself, if all the major players say to stay away from her, she's always going to be a drag on the price.

You do indeed invest partly based on leadership, as has been stated. GNH wouldn't be worth nearly so much if not for the personalities involved, for example. Not only do leaders bring special skills to the table (GNH's Geo seems to be a shining example of that), often they contribute to share price just based on a past reputation for success, or even just for good surprises.

If a company can't stand up to honest criticism then nobody should invest in it. Investors need all the info, not just cheerleading. You're entitled to voicing a pro-Peggy opinion here; don't try to turn this into a pumper board by saying others aren't entitled to their own anti-Peggy opinions.
