Depends on your own pain threshold. With every stock, you have to have a point at which you say "enough is enough", cut your losses, and never look back. If you can't sell at a 20% loss, you shouldn't be allowed to trade stocks.

I made 5 figures on CMM earlier this year. I've made money several times on CMM. So I have a high pain threshold. All I have to do is look at the return on the crappy mutual funds that I got the heck out of to feel good about myself.

(Plus, the loss I'm carrying on CMM is less than my current profit on DMM. :-) And, also, I've seen a dip to 41 cents before with this dog.)

I'll agree that technicals may often mean absolutely nothing and you should never bother with them without first looking at the fundamentals underpinning the share price.
