Pursuant to my latest post, I see that the Canadian Business Corporations Act includes as a "resident Canadian" even permanent residents, who have been ordinarily resident in Canada for less than one year (Part 1, 2. (1). Which does appear to be a fairly loosey goosey definition of "resident Canadian", which one or more of those "foreign" directors possibly satisfies.

I am not a lawyer, it is possible I misunderstand the definition.
