Message: Because.....

I wasn't thinking about that proxy vote when I considered the 20% opposing this merger. I was thinking the 20% was from the stockigloo group and our committee. But no matter. If there is only 20% opposing, I'm afraid this isn't a larger enough group to stop this merger. I'm sure there are some opposing who are not included in the 20%. In fact, the more I consider this, there has to be a great many who are not aware of the merger plans. When you look at votes cast to the number out, there are far too many who do not bother. I know this is not the usual situation we find ourselves in, but there would still be a significant number unaware or do not care. Those are key people because these numbers could make or break our case.

This will be decided by a vote in September if I am correct. Will those proxies you speak of be the ones to decide the fate of CMM? I voted against at that time because my several proxies all came through. I know quite a few who complained about not getting them, and many had trouble with their brokers and the advice or news they got. Much has happened since then including this newly announced plan in the last few days. I had been expecting a new more up to date proxy and another vote. Perhaps that isn't going to happen. Whatever, I know I am fully voted no!!!

I know our committee has worked hard on our behalf. They are also silent for good reason and I appreciate that. I'm sure they are having a hard time staying quiet when they'd like to be keeping us more up to date. But they have followed their legal advice in a very diciplined way. This gives me more confidence in them. But I am hoping we hear something about this impending vote to help clear up some of my confusion before this vote. Make no mistake, if it was not for our committee, this would have been a done deal by now.

With gratitude........Liz
