" if i were a hostile bidder then now is the time to pounce and bid 75 cents - then 1.00 later to seal the deal..." –Fani
1) If the offer weren't by Arcelormittel, would Arecelormittel step in to counter bid? Do you think Arcelor would allow another company to get their grips oin 17.5% of Champion. Would they not continue to outbid beyond $1.00?
2) Would Arcelor go after FNC before going after CHM? With their history in ROF, they nibbled on the body before going for the head -first foot in the door with KWG, then FWR, then mopped up the pieces after. So in Fermont, first foot in the door with FNC, then go for the head CHM.
3) If it were by Arcelormittel, is their an advantage to delaying an offer? The more CHM proves up, the more more value FNC has, and the more they'd have to offer.

CHM just increased their resource by 168 meters. I'm not sure how much tonnage that is. They've only explored 50% of Harvey Tuttle, which is in additionthe 1.2bill tons at Firelake North and Bellachase. And they are continuing to prove up these properties, before exploring the rest of the properties.
Everyday, they have multiple drills continuing to explore. CHM said they are ahead of schedule. By the time the Feb 43-101 comes out in Feb, they'll have even more.
Why wait to make an offer?
4) CHM could make a share-swap offer of 1.00 or 60million, then we could ride CHM up.
5) Would MF be content with a 1.00 offer? Would Sprott? If it were low, it would have to be a hostile attempt. Otherwise, they may negotiate a friendly offer.

If someone knew the current meters drilled for Bellachase and Firelake N., one could do a ratio to estimate how many tons 168 meters are.
