Message: Hello DMTC

Hello DMTC.

Sorry I haven’t replied to any of your earlier messages. Certainly I’m to blame. Your opinions and your information deserve attention.

It appears to me that you are a relatively recent investor compared to most who correspond here who’ve patiently been holding for all the years adding up. So your viewpoint is good and fresh, but mostly misunderstood by those who’ve had the advantage of learning over long periods of time.

For my part, I dismiss offhand the suggestion that you are an unidentified company spokesperson. That’s not the case, if for no other reason that management plainly lacks the initiative to lift a finger for even the slightest effort at promotion of the company. That’s ironical because those who are suspicious of your motives are also critical of management’s failures at promotion. So your correspondence cannot possibly be part of and underhanded management scheme. The investors who’ve been informed by years of experience (and who express their opinions here) know that management does not have the willpower nor the imagination to be so mischievous.

Besides the interesting news and facts that you’ve helpfully brought to our collective attention, there’s irony on top of irony in your presentations and in the reactions to them. Believe me, all the harsh criticism of management directed to your attention is well deserved. No matter how brilliant or not your insights, they cannot completely overcome those who differ from you because undeniably they’ve had many years of hard knowledge of management’s very real shortcomings. Nobody’s making it up. Many of us have tried and tried again to be positive and helpful. Trust me, major efforts (that you are not aware of) have been made over and over again. There’s no denying the negativity is well informed and well deserved.

You rightly point out the tremendous assets and tremendous investment opportunity. You rightly attribute that to management’s credit. If not fully appreciated, we all know about that. The irony is that’s what makes it all the more frustrating for those of us patiently waiting for management to do something about it. That’s what makes it so tough to remain positive after all the Shareholder pleadings and initiatives to get management to understand the first thing about the cost of its total failure to communicate the value of our assets to the investment community.

If you acquire shares of a company with world-class meticulously explored and confirmed assets, how long would you be prepared to wait for that information to be purposely communicated to potential investors? Maybe a month or two? How about five years? Is that too impatient? Would ten years be about right? Perhaps twenty years would better suit you? Would a lifetime be too long? How about a second or third lifetime for your children’s and grandchildren’s benefit?

Do you need confirmation of my sentiment? Check for yourself. You do not need to wait for an uncounted number of years to find out and have it proved to you. All you need to do is check the market for our shares. Half the time zero shares are traded. The other half the time near zero shares are traded. For a great investment, is that exciting enough for you? Does management deserve your praise for doing nothing about it?

If it was up to you, would you possibly be slightly tempted to pick up the phone and speak to an investment advisor once or twice a day? Would it be within the realm of possibilities to put some investment information in an envelope and go to the trouble of mailing it? Or is that too much hard labor for us to expect of management?
