The activity points have nothing to do with a HL's "status."

3 points per post is all it means, and the activity points drop when someone votes you a 5 for instance.

The star score and activity points are separate issues, but admin does have a formular that has them interact.

When admin appoints a HL, you are "president plus appointed" but you can be a VP rank from the star votes.

I promise everyone there is a glitch that boots HL's when the score drops but it is an intermitent issue.

In the old days, old system, when one reaches 3.6 and a combination of activity points, there was an automatic appointment to HL....that system has changed.

It's confusing at times...
