Now, I mentioned last week about looking at the chart from Osisko (Thanks Joe). They are in Quebec like we are. They have a grade of just over 1g/t http://www.osisko.com/en/company/resources-reserves.html
But they have huge tonnage giving them almost 12 million ounces of gold. They will be producing gold at $319 per ounce, one of the lowest cost producers in the world. Considering their grade, this really surprised me.
So, looking back at the AGM and FC saying our grade at 2g/t, (but probably higher 3-5g/t) will not be an issue if we have the tonnage we think we have, he is absolutely right! Actually, 2g/t looks great compared to Osisko!
For those that think that it is too late to buy GNH now because we have already run up, may I remind you that from July 2007 to December 2008, while Osisko was proving up their 12M ounces, they went from 20 cents to $13.00.
I believe we will have 5M ounces minimum from everything I am hearing, with a better grade than Osisko. I believe that the "Hoov's" target of $2.00 may be conservative.
