I have RBC as well. They go down regularly. If you need to just keep track of the trades and not actualy trade may I suggest you go to

They have up to the minute....real time quotes and they are reliable. I use it for my backup and to do basic technical evaluation as they have a decent set of technical tools for a free service. Macd is fully programable based on how you evaluate your moving averages.

I hold Cliffs and this is a decent charting tool for large US traded companies.
