New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Twilight you wrote- "The orebody isn't going to be that compact, it's going to be spread out, methinks."
I agree that, at surface, the quartz veins appear quite spread apart. However, I have also heard the analogy used that these veins are connected at depth like fingers on a hand. As such we may find that the orebody is more compact at depth and particularly well suited for an underground operation. I spoke with Sasha on Friday regarding the notion that the grades may improve at depth and he told me that they had not ruled out that possibility to this point.
I did not have to ask about the timing of assays- he brought it up himself. He mentioned that the company does pay attention to discussion on this board and is aware of investor anxiety (regarding assays) that began to permeate the discussions last week. He assured me that they are working as quickly as possible to compile the results and that the next news release would come "soon". I am a research scientist myself so I understand the amount of time it takes to build a conceptual model from bits and pieces of raw data collected over months to years. I also believe that presentation of drill results in the context of a conceptual model is the best way to immediately increase shareholder value and I have posted as much in the past. I cannot help but think that the drill results that have moved the share prices of some of our competitor companies have been based ONLY on one or two holes, albeit with very good grades- YAWN. I will patiently wait for the time when our conceptual model is revealed (the shot heard round the world?) and our drill results are used to support the possibility of a multi-million oz gold deposit.
In the meantime, please know that our little company is working tirelessly on our behalf. Let's also remember to play nice in the schoolyard- recess is almost over and I want a seat in the front row of Tilsley's classroom when the conceptual model is unveiled.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Scott
