and why not open pit? Could never get an answer on that. I was told maybe some area like the road zone, but I'm curious why not the whole area, being that they are all so close to each other. Seriously, for those that haven't been to the site, it's only a few hundred feet between each zone. If the strike is 20 kms long, can't you just open pit the whole length, or are there environmental issues here? I imagine a 20 km open pit would not look that nice in the beautiful country-side of the Beauce. Although, when your open pit was all finished you would have one massive waste disposal site which could then generate Tons of Cash long into the future. Waste disposal is a problem for the future.
