Well Twilight......welcome to the wonderfull world of high income bracket taxation!!

BUT, before any left wing indignation is unleashed on my comment, let me qualify it with the following statistic!

WHO PAYS TAXES

Top 1% of earners in Canada pay 24% of all fed/prov income tax

top 10% pay 41.2%

top 50% pay a full 90% of all fed/prov income taxes!

This stat is based on 2000 Taxation year.....or ten years ago. the amount the top earners pay has actually increased since then!

So the next time one of your bleeding heart, left wing friends tries to tell you the rich don't pay, you can tell them .....bulls--t. .....without high income earners there are no employers and no one to pay taxes.
