" they only do full pulp metallic assaying for fire assays that return positive results and/or values of interest "- Dragon

What I found most interesting is the fact they send back fire assayed samples for Full Pulp Metallic because they return ZERO as an assay indicator. Sound crazy!

Well, from the way I understand it the fire assay is done by taking a sample (small) from the split core and then assaying it. Now imagine doing an assay from a sample of split core with obvious visible gold throughout the full meter of core.........and then getting a result of zero g/t gold!............how can that be? There is VG!

That is the challenge of the nugget effect! A meter of core with VG can return a result of zero simply because the sample taken had no gold at all, yet all arround you can see gold flakes. When that happens the core is sent back for FPM which is a far more precise way to measure as well as a larger sample.

Now imagine all the samples that returned Zero gold content where there was no VG.

Are they barren??? or is the result skewed by the challenge of this deposit? That is the mystery of the Beauce and the reason the longs are here. Now comes the multi million dollar question...................how do you take the data and create a compliant estimate to prove a mine is economical!......................fasten your seat belts!
