I'm not sure why some feel that drilling along strike is considered cheating?
I would say that most of the currently successful explorco's having true long intersections, have done so by drilling along strike. Most retail investors really have no clue about geology, however they get super excited when they see anything having lengths of 100-200-300 meters. If you are drilling in hard rock and you have these kinds of lengths, there is a very high probability that the intersection came from drilling along strike, or straight into a vein. I could name quite a number of such companies, but I won't, because the market likes them, and so it is deemed acceptable.
However, to find them early in a drill campaign one must be extreamly lucky, therefore it is wise to drill across strike to identify your zones, exactly as GNH did last year. Now it is time to kick some butt and show the market what we really have there in the Beauce.
