Agreed. Eventually you have to verify that what you think is in the ground is in the ground. Can't dance around it forever making conjecture and educated guesses like the joke about the blind men trying to describe an elephant when they are only touching a particular part (trunk / ear / tail / leg). Evenutally someone needs to bring 'sight' / perspective to this venture and if we find we are chasing the right trail then GNH can go full out and deep. Being real about it too says that if we find the trail changes then they need to re-approach it. We know gold is there it is just a matter of finding out... do we have ahold of the skinny rope tail or are we at the trunk?? Then we can start looking for the body.
