The question I have, is when if ever is some of this etf money going to flow out of these instruments into mining equities that appear to be vastly undervalued?

Maybe when investors realise that their investments in these etf's may not be backed by the metals that are supposedly backing them. Then maybe they will go looking for companies with 'ounces in the ground', like ECU.
