OK, tomorrow (26th) is the last day for voting. Between the 26th and the day of the meetings, the votes will be tallied, and the results announced at the meetings on the 30th. Michel Roy estimates, that if the amalgamation is passed, the deal will close on or about September 2, which is a Friday. On Sep 5, the TSX is closed for Labour Day.
I do not think that there has been much short covering yet. So, in order to follow this potential fireworks display, does anyone have any idea when will be the last day of TSX trading for ECU shares and warrants, and the first day of trading will be for the new Golden Minerals and Golden Replacement warrants? Given the holiday, is it likely to trade in the US before Canada?
