I have no reason to believe that shareholders of both companies would vote no. I have said from the beginning that I think this is a win-win structured deal. Nothing has changed my mind and if anything I am more bullish now because it looks to me like the long bear market for mining stocks is showing signs of rolling over. The PM juniors have been outperforming the metals this week, and we have seasonal strength dead ahead. This could be an enormously bullish setup to have Newco trading by the mid-september, and see the sentiment for the mining stocks become strongly bullish at the same time as most of the risk is taken out of the story for ECU.
