Well said Gildage. The CEO did not say that manipulation was not happening but expressed the realistic wish that someone could prove that to him. Management's clearly defined objective is to focus on the present mining property to maximize production and income with the ultimate goal being a steadily profitable operation. They are doing everything practically possible to make that happen. As a shareholder I am quite content to see them executing on that plan. A sage investment guru from years back had a simple concept that is valid today. He never invested in a company until it was making a profit. The mining game seems to be particularly prone to long lead times between the identification of "massive reserves" and the realization of a profit from exploiting them. In fact, I think someone here years ago showed us a graph that illustrated the appreciation in a typical miner's share price when a discovery was announced followed by a long period of price erosion until profits were generated which then resulted in share price recovery. Probably we could have done better financially to have sold when ECU was making discoveries and then bought back when AUM was making a profit. Instead we are long term holders, but the profit potential is coming closer and management is focused on that objective.
