Dontcry, we will have to agree to disagree on the people involved and their actions and motives, as I know them to be good. It's true Bill talked some stocks in his publication and maybe this was outside his mandate but his intentions were honorable as is GATA as a credible source with a legit point of view even if not the whole story as they would conceed if you talked to them. I can also say that Michel Roy agonized over the merger right to the end, never fully supporting it, there is a story here about after the fact that I can't talk about as it relates to his non-continued association with Golden and covered by his confidentialty agreement on the merger so even I don't know all the facts just some hints, it might alter your view. We always think we are entitlted to know the truth or all the details but this is rarely the case as many things in life and business are private, personal or covered by legal obligations. Yet this doesn't change our wanting to judge or fill in the gaps based on minimal facts, its normal.

BTW, the questions you raise are very complicated, large subjects that could take hours to explain or fill in gaps on and even then there would still be missing pieces as no one has all the info. For me I want to focus on the now and future and try to make the best of what has been a miserable few years in this sector and with Golden Minerals. I remain sure that company is more advanced than 4 years ago even though the market says I'm crazy, such is life and markets in 2015, of course how markets function today and what drives them is not how they used to operate, they have changed dramatically and not for the better in my view. The amount of mis-allocation of capital, malinvestment, central bank supported market moves based on weak growth, buybacks, HFT algos and fundamentals around the world is incredible, like nothing I have ever seen before. Enough said for me.
