That was my initial assumption when the news dropped, but that doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. You would think Bernard would have mentioned something like that. They stated repeatedly that this was going to solve the power requirements for HPQ and PYR which just doesn't add up. Even if using a combination of hydrolysis and electrolysis is their process, we wouldn't get enough energy to produce the powder needed. Still better off directly powering the reactors and selling the powders. Cheap H2 production is still an awesome goal, they just announced it as a free energy machine.
