IMHO, it will heavily depend on how the management presents this letter. Should Jon Evans be bit more "investor friendly", then the message should reiterate the potential of the mine, point out that C-O is going to be online, mentions Evs, solid state batteries, TSLA being nearby and negotiation with other OEM on supply, then we are at $40/share the very next day. An ideal situation to make a secondary offering, dilute 15% and we have immediately the capital to build Phase I (well we would probably need another round of financing like that).
However Jon Evans is not like that and he wants to sleep well during nights. IMHO he will likely speak technical language which only few will understand, so we are likely going to drift towards $20 and waiting another 6 months for some good news.
Make no mistake, I don’t want him to be lying. I don’t want him to stand up and promise some "full self driving" feature, which will never arrive. All I am asking for is to "dress up" raw information a bit, put it into a nice box and put a nice ribbon over it. LAC is a premium company which should present to its shareholder information in a stylish way.
Either way, I sit on my hands now, waiting for Friday…
