It's no secret that mining isn't clean, and there will have to be a tradeoff between a desire to grow a domestic supply chain and a desire to disturb nothing. I think the part I found the most offensive, and to me it suggests a bias on the author's part, is the statement that Ganfeng is LAC's biggest shareholder. While this is true, it lacks the critically important context that it has this staus through its 51% ownership of CO. To me it seems like an effort to leverage the China bashing going on in some circles.
