Agree totally with your assessment.  LAC must go on the offensive against this type of propaganda in order to successfully complete its goals regarding Thacker Pass, otherwise the force of these anti-mining statements and "environmental spokesmen" will prevail.  By going on the offensive, I mean exactly what you are speaking about:  there must be coordination with those Native Americans affected by the Thacker Pass initiative, with the farmers and ranchers potentially affected and with the Nevada regulatory bodies.  Jon Evans has already addressed each of these areas in a concerted effort to offset misinformation, innuendo and outright false representations by those who position themselves in the media spotlight for personal gain while posing without guile and with those whose honest opinion of the Thacker Pass project is either skeptical at best or, in fact, totally negative out of concern for future adverse events tied in with the Thacker Pass project affecting their lives, their economic situation and their quality of life.

LAC, Jon Evans and, especially Alexi Zawadski, have made significant efforts to reach out to those on the other side, but it is a situation so critical that even the thought of sitting on past laurels in this fight is both counter to intuition and absent of good judgement.  They actually need to redouble their efforts in the area of assuaging the genuine as well as the pseudo concerns of the opposition.   Thanks for your post, ElithX.  There are several posts here already providing links to statement in this area by Jon Evans and by Alexi Zawadski.  Please review those already posted and feel free to post any new statements by LAC/ Nevada Lithium coming out in the future.  I suspect that order of business is probably one of the most important ones on this Hub until and possibly after Thacker Pass goes into production.  The professional agitation of environmental issues will never stop, but keep in mind that those who prosper by fame and/or fortune from fanning the fires of discontent can only do so if there is a genuine concern among a significant portion of the underlying affected population in the first place.  Those concerns must be addressed head on.   JMO   Okiedo
