In the short term I don't necessarily disagree with you Pavel. EVs still share many of the same components as ICE vehicles during production, and the world is a ways away from truley producing green energy. But, just as it took a century to get ICE vehicles to where they are, given time, as we produce more green energy to power EVs, the net harm to the environment has got to be significantly less. Just because the benefit isn't immediate doesn't mean its not worth aggressively pursuing. 

Oh, and if we all make money along the way, even better.
