This short sighted NIMBY policy approach is very surprising considering Biden's so called focus on EVs. Providing LAC ultimately reaches production it should be bullish, but I did not like the suggestion that the US government did not want to spend money fighting environmentalists. This could be a boost for those protesting Thacker Pass. Meanwhile, this is bad for other projects in the US behind LAC, such as PLL and CYP, and presumably even ALB's expansion plans at Silver Peak. It might bring more attention to Canadian juniors with projects in Canda such as CRE and ETMC.
