Yes, it's nice to have respectful debate. While I agree that opposition can gain momentum, and that politicians' attitudes blow in the wind of popular opinion, I maintain that a physical barrier that would have stretched the length of the country to support oil in a time when support for oil and gas is at a very low level is different from a geographically limited mine to support electrification when support for all thiings green is at the highest it's ever been.

I'm realistic as well that risks remain for Thacker Pass, and I agree that LAC has to invest heavily in both fighting law suits and winning popular support, but I guess I'm a bit more optimistic at least about the politicians' level of support. As I said, I still believe that LAC's biggest fight will be in the courts.
