I have just quicly scanned the article and the deal is paid in LAC shares. Should it go trought, then we have just lost 10% of the company value. Not a big deal as long as C-O goes online next year.

I understand, why this is happening (segment consolidation and buing every project in proximity to C-O factory), but I dont buy into it. IMHO, Evans is just bit greedy and plays slightly above his paygrade. The only positive on this deal is that very likely Ganfeng is not planning to buy them out "down there". Or they act as a broker for Ganfeng.

It is just complicate everything.
