If this is an extract from the BBB, then this is a further prove, that POTUS is completely out of his mind. Is he supposed to help the economy out of current fiscal troubles? Giving $12k to anyone willing to buy an EV is probably good from LAC shareholder point of view, but quite iresponsible from the budget point of view. Just another loophole for the "upper middle class" and higher to pay less taxes. I thought that giving $7.5k was crazy enought and now they just push it even higher. At the same time, the adoption of EVs is accelerating so the hole into the US budget could have been sort of unlimited.
