Thanks, HC, for bringing up the subject of V2G.  Yes, the potential of V2G is truly exciting and becomes more feasible as the number of EVs out in service increases.  

One problem, however, with V2G remains in that very few original EV manufacturers allow puchasers of their vehicles to be used for V2G without invalidating the warranty on the vehicle.  This is tied in with the limited cycle life of the EV battery and the increased charge/discharge cycles incorporated over and above those that would occur for the EV without the additional burden on the battery pack required for V2G operation.

The link below discusses the view of V2G from one corporation, Energi.  Many others are working on V2G solutions, but Energi may be one of the ones with the more productive PR departments.  They are definitely shaking the bushes looking for notice by anyone interested in how EVs might be incorporated into V2G.

Again, HC, thanks for broaching the subject of V2G. It is one of the many ways in which lithium demand is being moved forward to greater and greater levels, and that spells good news for lithium producers such as LAC.
