I understand what you are saying and it makes sense, however, it seems that we are assuming Judge Du's position is in favor of LAC.

Yes, I understand why we assume it. She has an EV rather than an ICE vehicle. She denied the previous petition from tibes. She was nominated by democrats administration. But, we should not assume she is giving her final decision in favor of LAC. Or in other word, we, LAC investors, should not make decisions of our investment in LAC just out of our WISHFUL THINKING.

 I didn't sell any of my shares of LAC in the past few years, but it's not because I belive Judge Du will make a final decision in favor of LAC, of course I wish she will. I just assume it's a 50:50 chance that her final decison is in favor of LAC. It's just out of my return/risk preference.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, which in my eyes is logical and consistent and cost a lot of time studying.
