I have to respectfully disagree with all the posters having an orgasm about the dividend. Dividends are NOT for a penny stock who only revenue stream is based on one patent licensing portfolio...a program which COULD go against us in court and vanish just as quickly as it began. Again IMO the dividend is baffling and I just don't understand how our board can make the same mistakes over and over again and still be granted options. Did they all forget what happened the last time they issued dividends? What is the point of emptying the treasury when you are "embarking" on your next phase of growth? "We want our shareholders to participate in our share of the revenues generated by our jointly owned MMP Patent Portfolio"....what's wrong with getting the share price up...can't we all participate in that? Why do we have to give away all our cash to feel like participants? Why does Pohl feels a .02 cent divy will make investors feel better than a $3,$4, or $5 share price?
The dividend stinks to high heaven and I don't like it one bit. Its the S&L show all over again and it sends the wrong message to investors...the ones who would like to see this turn from a shell into a real company. Its just plain sad who we have managing the potential here. IMO they're simply a clueless and directionless bunch...no one driving this car.
