Ron, this has been a very tough day for you. I look back at the times that I had to make that difficult decision for my beloved pets. I still have the bruises in my heart, and I'm feeling them all right now in sympathy with you.

You did the right thing for your beautiful dog, Blackie. You were there for him and he knew it. You'll see him again one day. I believe the pets we loved over the years will be with us in heaven. I hope you do, too.
