The title of the opinion piece says it all about the writer's bias. The use of the word "shakedown" pretty clearly implies that patent holders are not entitled to license fees and royalties. I'd like to see how that same writer would feel if he were to finally publish that book he had always planned to write only to see it used verbatim as the basis for a movie. You think he wouldn't be going after the money reaped from such a venture?
